HTML Tag List

As mentioned on the previous page, html documents are text files made up of HTML elements. Elements generally consists of 3 parts - a start tag (e.g. <title>), content and an end tag (e.g. </title>).

Note: This title tag is used to create a web page title that is displayed in the upper left hand corner of the page.

The constructed html element shown to the right will display bold content "This text is bold" to the viewer.

The <b> tag is used to bold the content of an HTML element. This bold html element is used along with other elements to create an html document. Next we will take look at how these elements utilize attributes.
